Tennessee Titans 17, Jacksonville Jaguars 10
This was the NFL’s version of Groundhog Day for the Jaguars. For the second consecutive season, they opened the season against the Tennessee Titans and the results were eerily similar.
The Titans, who held them to 75 yards rushing in last year’s opener, gave up only 33 this time and once again held them to 10 points.
Last year, the Jaguars lost at home 13-10. This year, they lost on the road 17-10.
The big difference: This time the Jaguars had multiple chances. They made nine trips to Titans’ territory, yet scored just 10 points. (more)
